Heathfield House – Sleeps 7
Just off the North Coast 500 tourist route and standing in beautiful quiet countryside on a private lane, Heathfield House is the traditional farmhouse for Heathfield Farm, and has been updated and extended sympathetically. Down stairs there is a large modern kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer and plenty of storage, a large lounge with dining area, a modern family bathroom and two double bedrooms, both with king size beds and ensuite shower rooms.
On the first floor there is a twin bedroom and a single bedroom and a modern shower room. Free Wi-Fi is available.
Outside there is plenty of parking and a garden with table and chairs and on your door step are acres of land to walk and explore – keep your eyes open in the evening and morning as the red deer gather in the fields just near the house, osprey fish in the two small lochs and otters live in the burn nearby. There are also foxes, red legged partridges, hares and ducks on the ponds.
Ideal for touring the Highlands, visiting distilleries and castles and playing a round of golf. Lovers of the countryside and nature can see deer and red kites from the house. Invergordon and Alness are close by for groceries, takeaways or a quiet drink
